Daniel is a Java Developer for fifteen years now. Currently working at Oracle on Helidon project which enabled him to tinker with the coolest open source technologies. Daniel Oh is a Java Champion and Senior Principal Developer Advocate at Red Hat to evangelize developers for building cloud-native apps and serverless ob Kubernetes ecosystems. He's also contributing to various cloud open-source projects and ecosystems as a CNCF ambassador for accelerating DevOps adoption in enterprises. He's speaking at lots of technical seminars, workshops, and meetups to elaborate on new emerging technologies for enterprise developers & DevOps teams.

Emily Jiang is a Java Champion. She is Liberty Cloud Native Architect and Chief Advocate, Senior Technical Staff Member (STSM) in IBM, based at Hursley Lab in the UK. Emily is a MicroProfile guru and has been working on MicroProfile since 2016 and leads a number of specifications including MicroProfile Config and Fault Tolerance. She interacts with most of the other MicroProfile specifications. She is also active in Jakarta EE specifications. She is a co-lead in Jakarta Config and also a Jakarta Context and Dependency Injection (CDI) committer. At IBM, she leads the effort of implementing all of MicroProfile specifications on Open Liberty.

Josh (@starbuxman) has been the first Spring Developer Advocate since 2010. Lize Raes is a Senior Software Engineer and Head of AI at a Swiss company specializing in software for drug discovery and gene technology. In parallel, she develops LLM-powered apps and is a core member of the LangChain4j team. Lize loves using technology to solve societal issues. This has driven her in the past to work as a cochlear implant researcher at Ghent University, to develop a COVID-19 prognosis model and advise the Belgian government, and to engage as a committee member for the CNCF + UN hackathon. Dr. Mark Pollack has been involved with the Spring (Java) framework since 2003, contributing JMS functionality. He is the founder and technical lead of the Spring CLI and Spring AI projects, focusing on improving Java application development with an emphasis on AI integration and developer-focused command-line tooling. His previous roles include being the founder and technical lead of several notable Spring projects, including Spring Cloud Data Flow, Spring XD, Spring Data, Spring Shell, Spring AMQP, and Spring.NET. Before his work with Spring, Mark was involved in offline computing in high-energy nuclear physics at Brookhaven National Laboratory and also served as a technical lead in the financial services industry, concentrating on front-office trading systems.

Mark Swatosh has worked as a software developer in the enterprise Java space for over a decade. He is a software developer at IBM working on Open Liberty, and a Jakarta EE committer for the Jakarta Data and Jakarta Concurrency projects. He is also a fan of energy efficient building, living in a Net-Zero home he designed with his wife.

Mary is a Java Champion and a passionate Senior Developer Advocate at DataStax, a leading data management company that champions Open Source software and specializes in Big Data, DB-as-a-service, Streaming, and Cloud-Native systems. She spent 3.5 years as a very effective advocate at IBM, focusing on Java, Jakarta EE, OpenJ9, Open Source, Cloud, and Distributed Systems. She transitioned from Unix/C to Java around 2000 and has never looked back since then. She considers herself a polyglot and loves to continue learning new and better ways to solve real-life problems. Reza Rahman is Principal Program Manager for Java on Azure at Microsoft. He works to make sure Java developers are first class citizens at Microsoft and Microsoft is a first class citizen of the Java ecosystem. Reza has been an official Java technologist at Oracle. He is the author of the popular book EJB 3 in Action from Manning Publishing. Reza has long been a frequent speaker at Java User Groups and conferences worldwide including JavaOne and Devoxx. He has been the lead for the Java EE track at JavaOne as well as a JavaOne Rock Star Speaker award recipient. He was the program chair for the inaugural JakartaOne conference. Sami is an original team member from Vaadin. With the mission of "empowering developers to build cool things", he is an experienced web application developer. He has built web applications and reusable components for web development for Vaadin and other web frameworks. Taking software where it has not existed before, the current hobby is a hardware project for his sailing boat and using the MQTT as the backend.

Sandra worked at some Axel Springer Companies where she learned a lot about coding and DevOps in large companies. That knowledge helped her a lot in setting up the automated infrastructure and DevOps pipeline plus the agile momentum in the StartUp she worked afterwards. In her first year at Microsoft, she helped several companies with their container, Kubernetes, DevOps, agile processes before moving 5 years ago to the cloud advocacy team where she keeps focusing on open source technologies and heavily in Java.

Sean Li is a product manager from the Java on Azure team. In his role, Sean helped to enable Spring integrations with Azure services, and bring to market Azure Spring Cloud, an Azure first-party PaaS jointly built with VMWare, to simplify development of Spring applications on Azure. Prior to Spring, Sean helped driving feature definition and customer engagements for Azure Blockchain services and Azure Database for MySQL.

Simon Ritter is the Deputy CTO of Azul Systems. Simon has been in the IT business since 1984 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Brunel University in the U.K. Simon joined Sun Microsystems in 1996 and started working with Java technology from JDK 1.0; he has spent time working in both Java development and consultancy. Having moved to Oracle as part of the Sun acquisition, he managed the Java Evangelism team for the core Java platform, Java for client applications and embedded Java. Now at Azul, he continues to help people understand Java as well as Azul’s JVM technologies and products. Simon has twice been awarded Java Rockstar status at JavaOne and is a Java Champion. He currently represents Azul on the JCP Executive Committee and on the Java SE Expert Group (JSR 379, 383 and 384).

Theresa Mammarella is a software engineer working on the Eclipse OpenJ9 JVM at IBM. She enjoys helping developers harness the full potential of their tools to create innovative, secure and performant solutions. Timo Salm is the first Solution Engineer for Developer Experience at Tanzu by Broadcom in EMEA, focusing on internal developer platforms and commercial Spring products. In this role, he's responsible for educating customers on the value of these products and ensuring that they succeed by working closely on different levels of abstractions of modern applications and modern infrastructure.

Yee-Kang (YK) Chang is an architect and developer advocate on the IBM's Java application platform team. He works on Open Liberty and contributes to various OSS projects like Eclipse LSP4Jakarta and LSP4MP. YK is keen on how we can make life easier and better for developers.

I joined the Microsoft in 2015. Since then, I've evangelized and advocated for Java on Azure and the development of Cloud Native micro-services App on Azure as well as Kubernetes. For most of my technical career I have been an advocate and evangelist for numerous technologies; including Java, Cloud Native micro-services, Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes. With over 10 years of experiences as a Java Evangelist, I was selected as one of the “We are professional. 100 people energizing the world” by Japanese media company NIKKEI in 2013. As part of this, I have been a board member of the Japanese Java Users Group and an Oracle Java Champion since 2016.
